And so it begins...

This blog is my own way of challenging myself. A good friend of mine, Chin Yew started the http://30dayartist.blogspot.com/ and it has inspired me to try something like that. So for the next 30 days I will write at least one short piece a day (can be any format). Hopefully I can last till then... Thank you for visiting and have fun!

Dear Sir

Dear Sir,

It has come to my attention that it seems that you, as a leader, supposedly, has done a pretty lousy job so far. People are getting angrier as time goes on, and as a leader you should sort things out quickly, but instead you seem to be making them worse.

There is a saying in Chinese, 'Bear with the thirst if you want to eat salted fish' which means if you have to deal with the circumstances for the actions you take. Take firm actions, not rhetoric speeches that lead to nowhere. You can say your hands are tied, and you can't simply monitor what each and everyone under you do all te time. But Sir, I'm afraid that is part of your job description.

We are all well aware corruption is not new here, but things are getting out of hand. It seems like everyone is stacking up their retirement funds for themselves, or should I say for their generations to come as well. But the thing is, nobody owes you people anything. The wealth belongs to all of us, not just those under you. Gone are the days where you guys can do things in the dark. Gone are the days where people can close one eye. Why? Because you guys have crossed the line! Even those who support you in the past are blowing the whistle. Why? Because you have crossed the damn line!

Yes, you can go ahead and threaten us, make you-help-me-I-help-you kind of deals, but it won't work anymore. Why? Because the world as a whole has changed. Awareness and consciousness have taken over. There are countless examples of this making news for us to witness regularly. We as human beings have moved forward, have evolved to another stage. Don't bother blaming whichever culture that influnces this. This is by nature's design.

It must be hard to swallow that everything is falling under your tenure. Be brave and deal with it Sir, it just has to happened. Can't say it's not your fault, cause by and far, it is. As a leader who so-called wants to reform, you have successfully fooled yourself and your crew for achieving that, and pat yourselves on the back. You don't listen to the people cause you don't care for them, only for yourselves. It's such a shame Sir, it really is. You have everything you need to make things better, but you did not. In fact you made them worse.

I am sure you are making heavy preparations for the events to come. One thing I am sure of, that you and your crew would be using our funds to make sure you have the results that you want, again. In fact, this would be the most you'd spend on. And yes, I won't be surprised if you really win by a landslide. You'd go and make a big ho ha about the support you get.

But aren't you tired Sir? Aren't you tired of making empty promises? Lying with eyes wide opened? Lying to millions of people every single day? This is not something you HAVE to do as part of your job Sir, it is something you CHOOSE to do. A new word for you Sir, G-R-A-C-E. I know you're not familiar with it, well we learn new things everyday.

I don't know how you do it Sir, but you can obviously sleep well at night. Maybe you can write a book about that.

Yours truly,
Not Your Crew
