The night was over when she said to him, 'Please, for the love of God, stop following me!'
In the most natural way he answered. ' It is for the love of God that I HAVE to follow you! I can't just leave you here alone.' But she just walked away, didn't even bother to turn and look at him,
That was 3 years ago. Now, for most of the time, he pretends that he is alright, especially if he's with company. When he's alone, he would let himself drift back to the memories he had with her, although they had only been together for 3 months. All the movies and pop corns they shared, the coffee sessions at their favourite cafe, and all their sweet moments together. But what good does it do? Nothing.
One day, he decides to go their favourite cafe and asked for the same drink whenever they went there. He was hoping to catch some of the familiar faces who worked there for old times sake. But it is all different now. They even changed the name of the cafe, probably changed management too. A young waitress came to take his order, 'Sir what can I get you today?'
'What about a new start over?'
'Sir, that is our special today. Whenever you want it.'
For the first time in 3 years, he smiles a smile that he really means.
